The Friends of the Athenaeum and the staff of the volunteer-operated Secondhand Prose Bookstore invite you to stop by, share some refreshments and meet many of the Friends who envisioned the store and have dedicated countless hours toward its operation and success for the past decade.

Proceeds from the store have helped to support programming and materials for the St. Johnsbury Athenaeum Library and Art Gallery.
