Adding an Email Address to Your Safe Senders List
Outlook 2003 and 2007
If you have an email open from the contact that you want to add to your safe senders list:
- Right-click on the email.
- In the drop-down menu, select Junk E-mail > Add Sender To Safe Senders List.
If you do not have an email from the contact that you want to add to your safe senders list:

On the Tools menu, click Options.
- On the Preferences tab, click Junk E-mail.
- On the Safe Senders tab, click Add.
- In the Add address text box, enter the domain that you wish to receive emails from.
- Click OK.
AOL
- Open the email and click This Is Not Spam.
- Click Mail > Address Book, the Address Book window displays.

Click Add, the Address Card for New Contact window will display.
- Enter the domain that you wish to receive emails from into the "Other E-Mail" field.
- Select the "Primary E-Mail" checkbox.
- Click Save.
Yahoo
- Open the email from your contact and click Not Spam.
- Check to see if the email address is in your "Blocked Addresses" list.
- If you see your contact's domain on this list, select it and click Remove Block.
- Open your mailbox and click Mail Options.
- Click Filters.
- Click Add.
- Update the "From header:" rule with the following 2 pieces of information: "contains" and your contact's domain (This tells Yahoo to identify your contact's email based on its From address.
- Click Choose Folder > Inbox.
- Click Add Filter.
Hotmail
- Check if your contact's email is in your Junk E-Mail Folder, if so, open the email and click Not Junk.
- Check to see if if your contact's email is in your Blocked Senders list, if so, select it and click Remove.
- Open your mailbox and click Options.
- Click "Junk E-Mail Protection".
- Click "Safe List".
- Copy your contact's domain and paste it into the "Type an address or domain" text box.
- Click Add.
Gmail
- Check if your contact's email is in your Spam Folder, if so, select the check box next to the email in the Spam list and click Not Spam.
- Click Contacts.
- Click Add Contact.
- Copy and paste your contact's From address, into the primary email address dialog box.
- Click Save.
Mozilla Thunderbird
- Check if your contact's email is in your Junk folder, right-click on the email and choose "Mark As Not Junk".

Click Address Book.

Make sure that the Personal Address Book is highlighted.

Click New Card, the New Card window will display.
- Under the Contact tab, copy your contact's "From" address and paste it into the Email dialog box.

Click OK.
EarthLink
- Open the Address Book.
- Click Add.
- Enter your contact's domain.
- Click Save.
Verizon
- Open your Inbox.
- Click Options.
- Click Block Senders.
- Locate the “Safe List”.
- Enter your contact's domain.
- Click OK.
MSN

Click Settings > E-mail > Junk E-mail.
- Click Junk E-mail Guard.
- Click Safe List.
- Locate “Add people to safe List” .
- Enter your contact's domain.
- Click Add.
McAfee SpamKiller

Click Friends.
- Click Add.
- Enter your contact's domain.
- Click OK.
Mailblocks

Click Addresses.
- Click New.
- Enter your contact's domain.
- Click Accept Mail.
- Click Other Options, make sure that Display in People Picker is not selected.
- Click Submit.
- Click OK.
MailShield

Click Friends.
- Click Add.
- Enter your contact's domain.
- Click OK.
MailWasher
- Click Tools.
- Click Blacklist & Friends.
- Click Add.
- Click Wildcard Expressions.
- Enter your contact's domain.
- Click OK.
CleanMyMailbox
- Click White List.
- Enter your contact's domain.
- Click Submit List.
- Locate any mail from the sender you wish to whitelist (Should be in your “Probably Spam” fold).
- Select the email in question.
- Click “Move to Inbox and Mark as Not Spam”.
Spam Inspector
- Locate any mail from the sender you wish to whitelist (Should be in your “Probably Spam” fold).
- Select the email in question.
- Click “Move to Inbox and Mark as Not Spam”.
Spam Interceptor
- Click Trusted Link in Authentication Lists.
- Enter your contact's domain.
- Click Add.
Spam Cop
Go to: http://webmail.spamcop.netand log in to your account.
- Click Options.
- Click SpamCop Tools.
- Click “Manage your personal whitelist”.
- Click “Click here to add to your whitelist”.
- Enter your contact's domain.
- Click Submit.
- Click “Click here to add to your whitelist”.
- Enter your contact's domain.
- Click Submit.
Spam Assassin
- Click Friends.
- Click Add.
- Enter your contact's domain.
- Click OK.
Spam Butcher
- Click Configurations.
- Click Known Senders.
- Locate "Known Good Senders and Recipients”.
- Click Add.
- Enter your contact's domain.
- Click OK.
- Click Add.
- Enter your contact's domain.
- Click OK.
