Moving the Domes

Today, FuncArt came to the Athenaeum to shift Bierstadt's Domes of the Yosemite away from the wall of the Athenaeum gallery. As part of the regular care and maintenance of the painting, conservators will come to the Athenaeum to assess the painting's condition and conservation needs.
