Username: your library barcode [the alphanumeric code found on your library card that starts with (2VS).

Password: your last name, first letter (only) capitalized.

  • Value Line Financial Services - Value Line has been in business since 1931, providing financial research and analysis of 3,400 large, mid & small cap stocks using its proprietary ranking systems. Sorting by “Timeliness” lets you know which company’s stock might be worth buying now. Also download individual analyst reports of the companies you might be interested in following.

    • Click HERE to go to Value Line’s YouTube series “One Stock to Buy Now.” Just watching one of these videos in which Value Line Analysts use the site to justify a stock they recommend not only gives the person a stock recommendation, but also shows them  some great tips & tricks.

  • Kanopy - Kanopy is a video streaming service that provides instant access to thousands of critically acclaimed movies, documentaries and Kids  favorites. We partner with studios like A24, The Criterion Collection,  PBS and more to bring your library access to thoughtful entertainment. You can learn more about Kanopy HERE.   • Listen Up! Vermont (Green Mountain Library Consortium) - You can borrow both audios and ebooks for your devices and readers. Listen Up! Vermont uses Libby, the library reading app. Learn about LIbby HERE.

  • Vermont Online Library - A comprehensive collection of databases with full text articles on a wide variety of topics, including newspapers, Chilton Repair Manuals, science, health, language learning, and small business resources. VOL includes databases for children to use for their research including Kid’s Info Bits, Junior Edition, Student Edition and Opposing Viewpoints in Context.

    VOL is now open to everyone--you don't even need a library card!

  • Universal Class - An online continuing education program available with your library card. More than 500 online courses are available.

  • Learning Express - Learning Express library is a deep and broad tool that has something for everyone. It can help someone choose a pathway in life or provide the tools to a better job.

    The Department of Motor Vehicles is now listing LearningExpress as a training resource for those working on obtaining their Commercial Drivers License (CDL). LearningExpress is available to all Vermonters through their library and contains practice tests, flashcards, and more to help prepare for the CDL test. LearningExpress also provides access to many resources for learning about different careers, building resumes, cover letters, and doing well at interviews (among many other things).

    One of the great features in this site is that it has practice tests for CDL licenses, NCLEX, as well as SAT and ACT resources and practice tests for high schoolers and GRE tutorials and practice tests for college students.
