Having trouble logging into your Listen Up Vermont! account, or KOHA?
The Athenaeum recently upgraded its network communication protocol.
Effective immediately, all patron accounts have the following format:
username: your library barcode [the 14 character alphanumeric code found on your library card that starts with 2VSPY]
password: your last name, case sensitive [you can change this default password when you login to KOHA]
Don't know your library barcode? Contact the librarians at the Athenaeum at 802-748-8291.
You will also need your library barcode and password to log in to Listen Up Vermont! to access our collection of thousands of downloadable ebooks and audiobooks.
If you find you are still not able to log in to Listen Up Vermont! using your updated login information, you may need to uninstall the Overdrive app from your device and then reinstall it.
Online Databases
Vermont Online Library - A comprehensive collection of databases with full text articles on a wide variety of topics, including newspapers, Chilton Repair Manuals, science, health, language learning, and small business resources. VOL includes databases for children to use for their research including Kid’s Info Bits, Junior Edition, Student Edition and Opposing Viewpoints in Context.

Genealogy Online
Heritage Quest -Family and local history as well as the complete census from 1790 to 1930. Call the library at 748-8291 for the username and password.
Universal Class
An online continuing education program available with your library card. Over 500 online courses are available.
Downloadable Audio and E-Books
You can borrow both audios and ebooks for your devices and readers using Listen Up! Vermont.

Vermont Online Library & Homework Help - To login in, enter the barcode from your library card. Your library card barcode is case-sensitive. If your barcode ends with a letter or special character such as a ? or %, then substitute a zero for the special character. For example, 2VSPY00020274? will be entered as 2VSPY000202740.
