• Submission is open to poets of all ages who live or work in Vermont.

• Theme for 2023: Embracing Change. We encourage you to use this as a point of departure for your writing, but it is not required.

• Deadline for submissions is February 28, 2023 at midnight. No poems will be accepted after that.

• Poems must be original work. Please send no more than 2 poems. We will select at least one poem to post.

• Poems can be no longer than 28 lines each.

• Poems should be submitted using a Google Form accessible from the Catamount Arts website (www.catamountarts.org/community-art-outreach/poem-town/), and uploaded as Word documents only. If you have any trouble using the form, please contact us at 802-748-2600, ext. 109. If you do not use a computer, we will accept typed poems by mail or hand-delivered to PoemTown St. Johnsbury, c/o Catamount Arts, PO Box 324, St. Johnsbury, VT 05819.

• Please do not submit work that has been submitted to or displayed at any Poetry Alive!,  PoemCity, PoemTown Randolph or PoemCampus events, or that has previously appeared in print elsewhere.

• By sending your work to PoemTown St. Johnsbury, you agree that PoemTown St. Johnsbury may use your poem(s) in display, promotional materials, and associated online, print, and other media venues.
