The Athenaeum Adopter Program helps grow our collection and enrich the library experience for everyone. With each contribution, Adopters bring new and diverse materials to our community.

Adopters are recognized with special bookplates and enjoy first access to the materials they help provide.

Program Options:

• Adopt an Author - Purchase multiple titles written by an author and/or purchase new titles as they are published.

• Adopt a Title - Purchase a specific title

• Adopt a Subject - Purchase non-fiction titles about a specific subject

If you can’t think of what to adopt, a librarian can suggest some titles to fill our collection gaps.

Please note that due to space constraints, we may not be able to accommodate all titles by certain authors or within a series.

Adopted materials are not guaranteed to remain in the collection permanently and are subject to withdrawal if deemed appropriate by library staff.
