Join us for a 4-week series to introduce the history and development of Falun Dafa, including the nonviolent resistance to the persecution from practitioners around the world. In addition to learning the five gentle exercises and mediation there is an optional reading component on mind-body cultivation principles.
Falun Dafa is a Buddha-school mind body cultivation practice, based on the principles of Truthfulness, Kindness, and Fortitude. Along the cultivation of the mind, there are five gentle and relaxing exercises and meditation. Since its introduction in China in 1992 by Li Hongzhi, Falun Dafa soon became popular in and outside of the country and received high recognition worldwide. Hundreds of millions have enjoyed the benefits on both mind and body that Falun Dafa has brought them. Locally, there are group practice sites in Montpelier.
