Why should the kids have all the fun? Join us for our 3rd annual Adult Summer Reading Program.
Register at one of the Athenaeum circulation desks, pick up a reading log, and start reading. You will be automatically entered for a prize drawing to be given away in August.
Want more chances to win? Each time you submit a book review your name will be entered into the drawing. Book review forms are located at all circulation desks or download an online book review. Click here for Book Review.

ECHO Leahy Center for Lake Champlain Open for Summer
On July 10th, ECHO will open with summer hours - Friday through Monday from 10am to 3pm. Timed tickets are required and available for two slots: 10 am – 12 pm or 1-3 pm for fast and contactless entry. As a patron of a Vermont library you can schedule an ECHO visit, two different ways:
1) Contact ECHO by emailing guestservices@echovermont.org or calling
802-864-1848 to register your family OR
2) Register online by visiting the website, https://www.echovermont.org/plan-your-visit/hours-admission/, and use the code VTLib2020 to receive the discount.
Pricing has changed for the summer hours:
ages 0-17 are free and adults 18+ are $12. With the library discount,
adults 18+ are $6 per person.
***Be sure to register for timed ticketing ahead of time as there is a limit on
the number of people who can be in the building at one time.
