For Years Andrew Hepburn has traveled through Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont and parts of Canada--to coastal sites, ponds and streams--photographing images of rocks and water which, though realistic and representational, border on the abstract...and render them strange--something else. Hepburn will make brief remarks about his work, discussing abstracting images from landscapes. "I enjoy the free back-and-forth and welcome comments and reactions to my images."  

Exhibit runs through November in Athenaeum Hall Gallery.
