Poemtown 2021
Call for Poetry Submissions
Submission is open to all poets who live or work in Vermont.
We have two themes for 2021: A New Season AND Lost and Found. We encourage you to use one or both as points of departure for your writing.
Deadline for submissions is February 28, 2021 at midnight. No poems will be accepted after that.
Poems must be original work. Please send no more than 2 poems. We will select at least one poem to post or read on Facebook Live.
If you do not use a computer, we will accept typed poems.
Poems can be no longer than 28 lines each.
Please include your name, city/town of residence, email address, and phone number at the bottom of your poem, or on the back. If you are school-aged, please include your age and the name of your school, or note that you are homeschooled.
Please do not submit work that has been submitted to or displayed at any Poetry Alive!, PoemCity, PoemTown Randolph or PoemCampus events, or that has previously appeared in print elsewhere.
Please submit your poem(s) via email to: acampbell@catamountarts.org OR mail to Catamount Arts, PO Box 324, St. Johnsbury, VT 05819.
By sending your work to PoemTown St. Johnsbury, you agree that PoemTown St. Johnsbury may use your poem(s) in display, promotional materials, and associated online, print, and other media venues.
