Hiring: Adult Services Librarian

The St. Johnsbury Athenaeum is looking for a full-time Adult Services Librarian.

The Adult Services Librarian performs a wide variety of information and reference services; developing and conducting programming; instructing patrons in the use of library resources and technology; and assisting with collection development.

The Adult Services Librarian will serve adult customers at in-person and virtual service points through expert-level reference and technology assistance, among other duties.

An MLS or MLIS and minimum of one year professional library experience is preferred. Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree, VT Department of Libraries Certification and at least two years of library experience, or the equivalent are encouraged to apply.
