Covid-19 and the Athenaeum
The Athenaeum and Secondhand Prose will close for regular services effective 7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 17.
We will remain closed until local schools reopen for in-person classes. We are doing this so that you, our friends and patrons, and we, the staff, remain healthy.
THE ATHENAEUM WILL PROVIDE SERVICES IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:
The foyer facing Main Street will remain open while we are closed. We will have free books, and checked-out books for patrons who have contacted us via phone or requests through their own account.
The wireless signal will remain on, 24/7, while we are closed. You can get the signal in front of the building or in the parking lot. Select Athenaeum Public, click accept to connect.
There are many online resources including classes, downloadable books, and databases. Call the Athenaeum for help accessing: 802-748-8291.
