The Athenaeum and Secondhand Prose will close for regular services effective 7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 17.

We will remain closed until local schools reopen for in-person classes.  We are doing this so that you, our friends and patrons, and we, the staff, remain healthy.

THE ATHENAEUM WILL PROVIDE SERVICES IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:

• The foyer facing Main Street will remain open while we are closed.  We will have free books, and checked-out books for patrons who have contacted us via phone or requests through their own account.

• The wireless signal will remain on, 24/7, while we are closed.  You can get the signal in front of the building or in the parking lot.  Select Athenaeum Public, click accept to connect. 

• There are many online resources including classes, downloadable books, and databases.  Call the Athenaeum for help accessing:  802-748-8291.
